🧭 The Opportunity
Command the Embraer E‑Jet family (E170/E190) in scheduled airline operations conducted under CARs 705. You’ll lead from the left seat, championing a safety-first culture, crisp SOP execution, and outstanding crew leadership while delivering a refined passenger experience.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Total time: 4,500 hours
- Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC): 500 hours
- Jet time: 500 hours
- Type rating: Not required — training provided
- Flight time notes:
- 1,000 hours total time on transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 airline operations; or
- 500 hours PIC on transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 airline operations.
- Pilots who do not meet the minimums may be considered based on overall experience and other factors.
- Recency: Recent airline flying experience within the last 24 months
- License: Valid ATPL — TCCA only
- Medical: Class 1
- Language: ICAO English Level 5 or higher
🌟 Preferred Experience
- Autothrottle and/or Generation 4 aircraft experience
- Previous ratings or experience on Embraer E170 variants
- Prior CARs 705 airline training and checking experience

- Company-provided E‑Jet (E170/E190) type training for NTR candidates
- Standards-aligned ground school, simulator phases, and line indoctrination under CARs 705
