🧭 What you’ll do

  • Captain the Dornier 228, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations on every sector.
  • Lead and mentor your crew, fostering professionalism, teamwork, and clear communication.
  • Champion a safety-first mindset, exercising sound judgment and threat-and-error management.
  • Deliver a polished, customer-centric experience for passengers and clients.
  • Execute thorough pre/post‑flight planning, performance and weight & balance calculations, and weather/NOTAM reviews.
  • Complete accurate operational documentation and reports in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support on-the-line troubleshooting in coordination with maintenance and dispatch, within SOPs.

  • Total time: 3000 hours
  • PIC time: 1500 hours
  • Multi-engine PIC: 500 hours OR meet Summit’s internal BARS CBT program
  • License: ATPLTCCA holders
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP level: 4
  • Type rating: Not required; training provided
