🧭 The opportunity
We’re seeking experienced First Officers with the skills, energy and leadership to step up. You’ll join a high‑performing A320 operation from our London Gatwick base, delivering safe, punctual and friendly journeys while building the command capability to lead from the front.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Operate the Airbus A320 family safely and efficiently across a network of 50+ destinations in Europe and North Africa.
- Champion SOPs, CRM and a just culture, contributing to continuous improvement and on‑time performance.
- Demonstrate leadership from the right seat—mentoring peers, communicating clearly and making sound, timely decisions.
- Maintain currency and proficiency through recurrent training, preparing for a smooth, timely transition to command.
🌟 What you’ll bring
- Proven performance as a First Officer on a transport category aircraft with ZFTT‑eligible experience.
- Calm, confident decision‑making and high standards of airmanship.
- Strong leadership potential, communication skills and a customer‑first mindset.
- Resilience, flexibility and the drive to progress to Captain.
🧾 Minimum requirements
- Total time: Minimum 2,500 hours total time (subject to factorisation) on an aircraft type that satisfies ZFTT; you must have flown this type within the last 6 months.
- Licence required: Frozen ATPL with IR and ME (or full ATPL).
- Accepted licences: UK CAA or EASA.
- Additional licence routes: UK‑issued CAA ATPL(A), fATPL(A), MPL, or an EASA licence meeting UK CAA conversion routes 3, 4, 5 or 6.
- Medical: Class 1.
- Language: ICAO ELP Level 6.
- Passport: Valid passport.
- Visa sponsorship: Not provided (ability to live and work in the UK without employer sponsorship is required).
- Type rating: Not required — A320 training provided.
🎓 Training & progression
We’ll provide the training you need to thrive on the A320 family, including type rating (if required), simulator phases, line training and continuous development focused on command skills. Progression to Captain is targeted within approximately 12 months, subject to vacancy, operational need and achieving the required standards throughout your assessments and line performance.
