Ready to take the left seat? We’re seeking Direct Entry Pilots with the skills, energy and leadership to progress to Captain. Join us at London Gatwick and fly the Airbus A320 family to 50+ sought-after destinations across Europe and North Africa, with a clear pathway to command within approximately 12 months (subject to vacancy and meeting required standards).

🧭 The opportunity

As an experienced First Officer, you’ll join a supportive team committed to developing future commanders. You’ll fly the A320 family from our London Gatwick base while building the leadership, decision-making and operational breadth that set you up for a successful upgrade to Captain.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Operate A320 family aircraft safely and efficiently across our European and North African network.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, CRM and situational awareness from the right seat as you prepare for command.
  • Uphold SOPs, safety and compliance standards, contributing to a just culture and excellent on-time performance.
  • Engage in recurrent training and assessments aligned to an upgrade-focused development plan.

🌟 Training & progression

  • Type Rating provided if required, with full ground school and simulator phases.
  • Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT) pathway subject to eligibility and recent experience.
  • Structured command preparation with a target upgrade timeline of ~12 months (subject to vacancy and meeting required standards).

🧾 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: Minimum 2500 hours (subject to factorisation).
  • Qualifying type: Time on an aircraft type that satisfies ZFTT requirements.
  • Recent experience: Flown the qualifying type within the last 6 months.
  • Licences: Frozen ATPL, IR, ME (EASA or UK CAA accepted).
  • Medical: Class 1.
  • ICAO English: Level 6.

🧩 Additional requirements

  • Accepted licences: UK-issued CAA ATPL(A), fATPL(A), MPL, or EASA licence meeting UK CAA conversion routes (3, 4, 5 or 6).
  • Passport: Valid passport.
  • Visa sponsorship: Not provided.
