🧭 About the Mission
Force Multiplier aircraft are modified, maintained, owned, and operated by PAL Aerospace—a leader in the design, development, and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, heavy maintenance checks, and software applications. Technology-driven and mission-focused, PAL Aerospace is a pioneer of industry-leading innovations in airborne special missions.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Captain multi-crew DHC-8 special mission aircraft on extended ISR sorties (typical missions 8–9 hours in larger platforms).
- Lead safe, efficient flight operations across diverse weather, seasons, and terrain, including maritime and coastal environments.
- Execute on-demand taskings, including short-notice launches and rapid redeployments.
- Collaborate with mission systems, sensor, and analysis teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Uphold SOPs, regulatory compliance, and robust crew resource management throughout every phase of flight.
- Represent FM and PAL Aerospace with professionalism during domestic and international rotations.
🌍 Rotational Life & Travel
- Rotations: Participate in extended rotations domestically and internationally; sometimes at short notice.
- Schedule: Early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays during On Duty periods.
- Mission Environment: Aircraft cabin operations on longer-duration sorties (8–9 hours) aboard larger DHC-8 platforms.
- Travel: Frequent travel required, including international.
🛡️ Clearances & Compliance
- Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain required security clearances.
🌟 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 4,000 hours
- PIC in Type: 1,500 hours
- In Type: 500 hours
- Type Rating: Required (DHC-8)
- Special Missions: 1,000 hours MPA or Special Missions experience
- License: ATPL – TCCA
- Medical: Class 1
- Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Preferred: Military experience considered an asset
- Open to Lic. Holders: TCCA
