Lead safe, reliable amphibious operations as a Captain on the DHC-6 300/400 series. You’ll leverage deep float experience, strong knowledge of Indonesian regulations, and a team-first mindset to deliver mission-ready performance in a dynamic operating environment.

  • Base: Batam, Indonesia (willingness to be based in Indonesia required)
  • Employment type: Permanent

🧰 Licenses, Ratings & Currency

  • License: ATPL (ICAO) with DGCA validation
  • Type rating: DHC-6 Twin Otter (type-rated required)
  • Endorsements: Float Rating (amphibious operations)
  • Currency: Latest PPC within the last 12 months
  • Medical: Class 1; normal color vision (Ishihara or equivalent)
  • Open to license holders: ICAO
  • English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 minimum

🌟 Minimum Hours & Experience

  • Total time: 3,000 hours (float operations) or 2,500 hours (wheel operations)
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 100 hours minimum
  • In-type (DHC-6): 500 hours minimum
  • Multi-engine: 40 hours minimum
  • IFR experience: 100 hours as PIC, including 40 hours multi-engine operations
  • Time on type (endorsement): Minimum 500 hours on each type requiring separate license endorsement
  • Float experience: Minimum 1,000 hours total float time, including either:
    • 500 hours float experience on type; or
    • 1,000 hours PIC and 500 hours float on type within Indonesia
  • Role experience: Minimum 5 years as a DHC-6 300/400 Amphibious Captain

🧰 Additional Requirements

  • Education: Graduated from an accredited Aviation School
  • Regulatory knowledge: Thorough knowledge of DGCA CASR
  • Technical: Computer literate; good proficiency with flight ops systems and documentation
  • Teamwork: Effective relationship management; thrives in diverse, multicultural teams
  • Health: Passed required medical health tests; normal color vision
  • Language: Minimum TOEIC score of 600
