Fiji Link is inviting suitably qualified and experienced local, type‑rated pilots to step into the role of Captain (DHC‑6). As Pilot in Command, you hold final responsibility for the disposition and safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with the Air Navigation Regulation and Company documents. This position reports to the Manager Flight Operations – Chief Pilot through the Fleet Captain DHC‑6.
🧭 Your mission
- Serve as PIC on DHC‑6 operations, exercising final authority and responsibility for the aircraft while in command.
- Operate in full compliance with the Air Navigation Regulation and all applicable Company manuals, policies, and procedures.
- Lead the crew, oversee pre‑flight planning, performance, and operational decision‑making to ensure safe, efficient, and on‑time services.
- Uphold Fiji Link’s safety culture and professional standards with a customer‑focused mindset.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total Time: 2,000 hours
- PIC Time: 500 hours
- PIC in Type (DHC‑6): 250 hours
- Multi‑engine: 1,000 hours
- Turbine: 1,000 hours
- Type Rating: Required (DHC‑6)
- Flight Time Notes: 1,000 hours on multi‑engine RPT turboprop/turbofan aircraft; 20 hours night; 100 hours instrument
- Licences: CPL, IR, ME — holders of CAAF licences
- Medical: Class 1
- Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4
