✈️ The opportunity

As a Dash 8 First Officer, you will fly diverse missions that connect remote communities, support local economies, and provide critical services in Northern Quebec. You’ll operate in demanding northern weather and terrain, grow your skills on multi-crew turbine equipment, and contribute to a mission that matters.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate the Dash 8 Q‑Series in a multi-crew environment, supporting the Captain to ensure safe, efficient flights in accordance with SOPs and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning: performance, W&B, weather, NOTAMs, and route considerations for remote northern airfields.
  • Execute high standards of airmanship during departures, arrivals, and approaches in challenging conditions, including cold‑weather operations.
  • Participate in cargo/passenger handling oversight to remain within performance and loading limits.
  • Practice effective CRM and clear bilingual communications; contribute to a strong safety culture through SMS reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Perform accurate checklist discipline, de/anti‑icing procedures, and adherence to company policies and Canadian Aviation Regulations.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 1000 hours (minimum)
  • Licence: IATRA (two‑crew) or ATPLTCCA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO English: Level 4 or higher
  • Clearances: Able to obtain and hold a RAIC; valid passport
  • Language: Bilingual French/English (required); Inuktitut (asset)
