This permanent First Officer opportunity on the De Havilland Dash 8 welcomes NTR pilots, provides full type training, and offers a dynamic regional flying environment based at YHU (Montréal/Saint-Hubert, QC).
🧭 The mission
As a Dash 8 First Officer, you’ll partner with the Captain and crew to deliver safe, efficient, and on-time operations across a demanding and rewarding route network. You’ll execute SOPs with precision, elevate CRM, and bring a cool head to all phases of flight.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, briefings, and performance calculations
- Operate to company SOPs with a disciplined approach to checklists and callouts
- Maintain strong situational awareness in varied weather and operational environments
- Champion safety, compliance, and high-quality passenger service
- Support efficient turnarounds and effective crew coordination
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Total Time: 1,500 hours minimum
- Licences: IATRA, IR, ME (under TCCA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Language: ICAO ELP Level 5
- Type Rating: Not required — NTR applicants welcome (training provided)
- Preferred Experience: Multi-engine time considered an asset
- Passport: Valid passport
- Base Commitment: Willingness to be based at YHU
- Open to Licence Holders: TCCA
