Join a permanent, line-flying role on the De Havilland Dash 8. Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, the 705 First Officer helps transport thousands of passengers each year—prioritizing safety, passenger comfort, and on-time performance on every flight.

  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate the Dash 8 as First Officer in accordance with company SOPs, CARs, and manufacturer guidance.
  • Champion safety in all phases of flight while balancing passenger comfort and schedule reliability.
  • Collaborate with the Captain, Dispatch, and Cabin Crew to deliver a seamless travel experience.
  • Complete precise flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and thorough pre/post-flight inspections.
  • Participate in recurrent training, briefings, and safety management initiatives.

🧰 What you bring

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • License: Canadian CPL with IATRA or valid ATPL.
  • Ratings: Instrument Rating (IR).
  • Total Time: Minimum 500 hours.
  • Medical: Transport Canada Class 1.
  • Language: ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
  • Licences accepted: TCCA only.
  • Security: Able to obtain and maintain applicable transportation security clearances and authorizations.
  • Work authorization: Visa sponsorship not provided.
