• Command Dash 8 operations from preflight to postflight, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-time performance.
• Apply robust Crew Resource Management to foster teamwork, communication, and threat/error management.
• Operate to company SOPs and all applicable KCARs, maintaining the highest standards of airmanship.
• Mentor and lead flight and cabin crew, creating a professional, supportive cockpit environment.
• Exercise sound decision-making during irregular operations, weather, and operational constraints.
• Uphold aviation security protocols and Dangerous Goods acceptance/handling requirements.

🌟 Minimum qualifications

• Total time: 5,000 hours
• In type (Dash 8): 2,500 hours
• PIC in type: 1,500 hours
• Type rating: Current Dash 8 type rating required
• License: ATPL — KCAA
• Medical: Class 1
• ICAO ELP: Level 4
• Currency: Date of last flight within the last 6 months

📚 Required training & compliance

• Completed Crew Resource Management (CRM) course — current
• Aviation Security (AVSEC) course — current
• Dangerous Goods (DGR) course — current
• Demonstrated, up-to-date knowledge of KCARs
