🧭 What you’ll do

  • Command Dash 8 operations from briefing to shutdown, delivering safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant flights.
  • Apply sound decision-making, threat and error management, and strong situational awareness in all phases of flight.
  • Lead the crew with excellent CRM, mentoring First Officers and fostering a just culture.
  • Adhere to SOPs, CARs, company policies, and operational standards.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with dispatch, maintenance, and ATC to ensure reliable operations and on-time performance.
  • Champion safety practices, participate in safety reporting, and contribute to continuous improvement.

🌟 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 2,000 hours
  • PIC time: 500 hours
  • Relevant experience: 1,000 hours of multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR, and/or turbine experience in 702/703/704/705 operations
  • License: TCCA ATPL
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
  • Open to licence holders: TCCA
  • Visa sponsorship: Not provided
  • Type rating: Not required (training provided)

🛡️ Additional requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
  • Valid passport.
  • No Transport Canada violations or suspensions.
  • Ability to travel to and from the United States without restrictions.
