Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, this CARs 705 Captain role is entrusted with transporting thousands of passengers each year. Your first priority is safety—delivering each flight with precision, while ensuring passenger comfort and on-time performance.

🧭 Your mission

  • Command safe, efficient operations on the DHC‑8 in accordance with CARs Subpart 705, company SOPs, and all applicable regulations.
  • Lead the flight deck with professionalism—prioritizing safety, crew coordination, and exceptional passenger experience.
  • Execute thorough preflight planning: performance, fuel, weather, NOTAMs, dispatch release, and weight/balance.
  • Collaborate with First Officers, cabin crew, dispatch, maintenance, and ATC to deliver reliable, on-time operations.
  • Exercise sound judgment during irregular operations and changing conditions; make timely, informed decisions.
  • Champion continuous improvement through debriefs, safety reporting, and mentoring of First Officers.

🧰 What you bring

  • TCCA ATPL.
  • Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable transportation security clearances and required authorizations.
  • Able to work without employer-sponsored visa; sponsorship is not provided.

🌟 Preferred assets

  • 500+ hours on the DHC‑8.
  • Previous airline experience.

🎓 Training & progression

No type rating? No problem. Comprehensive initial and recurrent training on the DHC‑8 is provided to company and regulatory standards.

  • NTR: Successful candidates receive full type training.
  • Ongoing proficiency checks and career-long support in a 705 operation.
