✈️ The Opportunity

As a Direct Entry Captain, you will command Dash 8-300 multi-crew aerial firefighting sorties, ensuring safe, effective operations that protect communities during wildfire season.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Command Dash 8-300 aircraft on aerial firefighting missions with an unwavering focus on safety, SOPs, and crew coordination.
  • Plan and execute missions, including performance, fuel, and weather/NOTAM briefings.
  • Operate in dynamic environments and remote locations, including days, nights, and overnight shifts as required.
  • Ensure full compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain precise operational documentation and flight records.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Valid CPL or ATPL.
  • Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 500 hours PIC time.
  • Minimum 250 hours on Dash 8 aircraft.
  • Current DH8 type rating and ability to meet Transport Canada requirements for Dash 8 operations.
  • Valid Class 1 Medical.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Clear criminal background check.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts as needed.
