Join the flight deck as a CRJ First Officer and build turbine time in a safety-first, team-driven operation. You’ll operate the Bombardier CRJ series while benefiting from structured mentorship and full simulator training. This is a non–type-rated entry with comprehensive instruction delivered at a Part 142 training center.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Licensing: R-ATP required by class date. Applications also considered from Commercial Multi-Engine Land holders with completed ATP-CTP and a passed FAA ATP written exam.
- Permits: FCC Radio Operator’s Permit.
- Travel documents: Valid passport.
- Training eligibility: Able to enroll and train at a Part 142 Training Center.
- Medical: Current First-Class medical.
- Work authorization: Authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
🌟 Minimum flight experience
- Total Time: 750+ hours
- Multi-Engine: 25+ hours
- Night: 100+ hours
- Instrument: 75+ hours
- Cross-Country: 200+ hours
R-ATP Pathways: Eligibility thresholds vary by training path:
- 750 hours total time — Military
- 1,000 hours total time — Bachelor’s degree
- 1,250 hours total time — Associate degree
📚 Training and type rating
You do not need a CRJ type rating to apply. Comprehensive ground school, simulator, and systems training are provided at a Part 142 training center, culminating in qualification on the Bombardier CRJ series.
