Corporate Captain (Citation M2/CJ Series) — DFW/TKI

✈️ Corporate Captain, Citation M2/CJ Series

Garver is growing our corporate flight team and seeking a proven Captain to lead safe, efficient operations of our Citation M2. Based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with the aircraft hangered at McKinney National Airport (TKI), you’ll fly mostly Texas missions with occasional trips to neighboring states.

  • Employment: Permanent
  • Base: DFW area (aircraft hangered at McKinney, TX — TKI)
  • Aircraft: Citation M2; Garmin G3000 avionics
  • Schedule: ~4 missions/week; ~90% day trips; ~3 overnights/month
  • Typical Routes: Primarily Texas; neighboring states as needed
  • Type-Rated: Required

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism on every flight.
  • Plan and execute missions including performance calculations, fuel planning, weather and NOTAM review, and route optimization.
  • Comply with all applicable FAA regulations, company policies, and insurance requirements.
  • Coordinate with passengers and stakeholders to deliver a smooth, business-focused travel experience.
  • Oversee aircraft status, documentation, and readiness; collaborate with maintenance for timely discrepancies resolution.
  • Maintain currency, training, and records to meet company and insurer standards.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total Time: 3,500 hours
  • In Type (Citation M2/CJ series): 250 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
  • Turbine: 1,500 hours
  • Type Rating: Required (Citation M2/CJ series)
  • License Required: ATP
  • Accepted Licenses: FAA
  • Medical: Current Class II (or higher)
  • Regulatory: Strong working knowledge of FAA rules and regulations
  • Insurance: Must meet insurance carrier approval standards

🌟 Preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Garmin G3000 avionics
  • Demonstrated record of safe decision-making and passenger-focused service in corporate flight operations
