✈️ Citation XLS/XLS+ Captain (PIC)
Lead safe, efficient operations on a midsize jet as a home-based PIC. This role is based out of Omaha with a regional footprint—live within, or be willing to relocate within, a 2-hour call-out of the home base.
🧭 Role Snapshot
- Aircraft: Citation XLS/XLS+
- Home Base: Omaha, NE (Regional Home-Based; 2-hour call-out)
- Reports to: Base Chief Pilot
- Schedule: Variable; includes nights, weekends, and holidays
- Travel: Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries
- Environment: In/around aircraft and terminals; frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Serve as PIC, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations under the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company policy and the CFRs.
- Maintain proactive communication for standby duty, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-/post-flight reporting.
- Oversee and maintain EFB hardware and applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.
- Maintain a current First Class Medical and demonstrate decisive, safety-first judgement.

🌟 What You’ll Bring
- Flight Experience (Minimums):
- 3,500 hours total time
- 2,000 hours total PIC
- 250 hours total time in type (Citation XLS/XLS+)
- 250 hours PIC time in type
- 1,500 hours multi-engine (500 hours multi-engine PIC)
- 500 hours turbine
- 300 hours instrument
- Training: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months (preferred).
- Licenses & Certificates: ATP (ATP accepted with ability to obtain), First Class Medical, FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Documents & Eligibility: Valid U.S. driver’s license, proof of eligibility to work in the U.S., current passport.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug and alcohol testing (including marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines) for safety-sensitive functions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Other: Ability to relocate or reside within a 2-hour call-out of the Omaha base.
License required: ATP_UNRESTRICTED
