✈️ The Opportunity
As Pilot in Command, you’ll captain our Citation XLS/XLS+ fleet across a diverse mix of missions, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional service under FAR Part 91 and Part 135. This is a true floater role—full-time, not tied to a single base—ideal for a captain who prefers variety and nationwide flying while commuting from a U.S. city with multiple daily nonstops to major hubs.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Exercise PIC authority to deliver safe, efficient flights in accordance with company procedures and FARs.
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times to meet company policy and CFR requirements.
- Stay mission-ready: maintain standby communication, respond to trip notifications, and complete position calls plus pre/post-flight reports.
- Own your tech: manage EFB hardware/apps and ensure all charts, publications, and manuals are current.
- Lead with judgment and composure, demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making in all phases of flight.
- Model Jet Linx core values while partnering closely with the Base Chief Pilot and Operations teams.
🧰 What You’ll Bring
- Minimum flight time: 3,500 TT | 2,000 PIC | 1,500 Multi-Engine | 500 ME PIC | 500 Turbine | 300 Instrument.
- In-type experience: 250 hours total in type and 250 hours PIC in type (Citation XLS/XLS+).
- Training: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months preferred.
- Certificates: FAA ATP (unrestricted by start date; consideration for those able to obtain), First Class Medical, and FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Eligibility: Proof of U.S. work authorization, valid U.S. driver’s license, and current passport; unrestricted travel to Canada and the Caribbean.
- Clearances: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug/alcohol testing for safety‑sensitive functions (including marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and amphetamines).
- Schedule flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; comfortable working in/around aircraft and terminals.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
