Step into the left seat of the Cessna Citation V/Ultra/Encore family and lead safe, seamless operations with a client-first mindset. This permanent role is ideal for a TCCA ATPL-qualified Captain who thrives in a modern glass cockpit, navigates complex weather and performance with confidence, and champions a strong safety culture. No type rating? Training is provided for the right candidate.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Lead all phases of flight in accordance with CARs, company SOPs, and SMS best practices.
- Plan and execute flights: performance, routing, fuel, W&B, alternates, and NOTAM/weather analysis.
- Operate and program advanced FMS and glass cockpit systems with precision and situational awareness.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience through professional communication and proactive service.
- Collaborate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and crew to ensure safe, on-time departures.
- Maintain currency, documentation, and accurate flight/technical records.
- Champion a positive safety culture, identifying hazards and contributing to continuous improvement.
🌟 What you bring
- Hands-on experience with modern FMS and glass cockpit avionics.
- Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight & balance.
- Expert knowledge of CARs and practical SMS safety practices.
- Canadian Radio Telephone Licence.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization.
- Exceptional client service, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule aligned to client operations.
🧭 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- PIC Time: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: Minimum 500 hours
- Type Rating: Not required (Training provided)
- Licence: ATPL (TCCA)
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4
- Preferred: Experience on similar light jet/turbine types
