Lead the Flight Deck as a Citation M2/CJ Series Captain
Axis Jet is seeking a polished, safety-driven Captain to operate our Citation M2/CJ series fleet. This is a permanent position with type rating training provided for the right CE‑525 candidate. Relocation to the Sacramento, CA area is required to meet a two-hour call-out.

Non-type-rated applicants are welcome—we’ll invest in your CE‑525 training with a defined commitment.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Captain on Citation M2/CJ series flights, exercising decisive, safety-first leadership.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance and weight/balance, risk assessment, and weather/NOTAM reviews.
- Execute all phases of flight to company SOPs and regulatory standards, ensuring smooth, punctual operations.
- Coordinate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and crew to optimize aircraft readiness and mission success.
- Deliver a discreet, concierge-level passenger experience while safeguarding confidentiality and comfort.
- Maintain currency, training, and documentation; proactively manage SMS, FDM/FOQA inputs, and safety reporting.
- Mentor and collaborate with SIC crew members; model professionalism on and off the flight deck.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 3,000+ hours
- Turbine: 500+ hours
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Medical: Class 1 (First Class), current
- Type Rating: Not required; training provided (NTR accepted)
- Relocation: Willing to reside within a 2-hour call-out of Sacramento, CA
- Work Authorization: Eligible to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available
🌟 Preferred Credentials
- Current CE‑525S type rating.
- 100+ hours PIC in make/model (Citation M2/CJ series).
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service within on-demand or corporate flight operations.
- Strong SOP discipline, SMS participation, and exceptional cockpit resource management.
🎓 Training & Commitment
Axis Jet provides approved CE‑525 training for qualified hires. In recognition of this investment, an 18-month training commitment is required.

- Call-Out: Must maintain residence enabling a 2-hour report time
