✈️ Role overview

Planesmart Aviation is seeking a seasoned Captain to serve as PIC on the Citation M2 for safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations. You’ll lead every phase of flight, uphold the highest standards of airmanship and compliance, and represent our brand with professionalism on every leg.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Command Citation M2 flights as PIC, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and exemplary passenger service.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with dispatch/maintenance to ensure aircraft readiness and on-time performance.
  • Lead crew briefings, manage cockpit resource management, and maintain clear, professional communications.
  • Maintain currency and proficiency; complete required training and checks as scheduled.
  • Accurately document flight, duty, and aircraft records in accordance with FAA and company policy.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATPL).
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Current United States Passport.
  • Minimum 2000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1000 hours pilot-in-command airplane time.
  • Minimum 500 hours cross-country flight time.
  • Minimum 100 hours night flight time.
  • Minimum 75 hours instrument time (50 hours in-flight).
  • Minimum 500 hours multi-engine turbine airplane time.

🌟 Preferred

  • Type rating in CE-525 (Citation M2) or similar aircraft.
  • High performance, high altitude, and complex endorsements, or equivalent 121/135 training documentation.
  • Previous Part 135 operations experience.
