✈️ The Opportunity

Be the trusted captain clients count on. You’ll pair polished client care with precise, FAA-compliant flight operations—adapting to dynamic schedules, maintaining meticulous records, and mentoring the SIC to our exacting standards.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as PIC on the C680A Citation Latitude for Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter missions.
  • Act as Cutter Aviation’s primary client-facing representative, building strong relationships with aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the wider business aviation community.
  • Adapt to a rotating schedule and respond to short-notice callouts while maintaining readiness and professionalism.
  • Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, including flight operations, qualifications, currency, fitness for flight, and aircraft compliance.
  • Follow procedures for reporting any irregularities during flight and ground checks.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot.
  • Train and mentor the SIC to perform SIC functions properly and confidently.
  • Uphold an uncompromising commitment to safety and service excellence on every leg.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Flight time: 3,000+ total hours; 1,500+ PIC hours; 250+ PIC or SIC hours in a mid-size jet or larger (>20,000 lb MTOW).
  • Certification: Current FAA-issued pilot license with a previous PIC jet type rating; current First-Class Medical.
  • Record & compliance: No accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past five years; able to pass drug screening and background check; clean driving record.
  • Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of general aviation aircraft operations, service requirements, and the needs of crews and passengers.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to train and guide the SIC to perform all SIC duties properly.
  • Customer focus: Sincere desire to assist customers, build rapport, and represent the brand with a professional appearance and manner.
  • Core skills: Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking; strong initiative; able to lift 50 lb.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.

Nice to have: Current Part 135.293/.297 qualifications in a jet with FSI or SimuFlite training.
