🧭 The Mission
As Captain, you’ll lead safe, efficient operations under 14 CFR Part 135 while executing time‑sensitive flights that make a real difference. You’ll collaborate closely with dispatch and mission partners, maintain the highest professional standards, and represent Million Air/American Jet with integrity and discretion.
- Exercise PIC authority with unwavering commitment to safety and compliance
- Conduct thorough flight planning: performance, weather, fuel, and W&B
- Ensure aircraft readiness; oversee preflight, post‑flight, and documentation
- Coordinate rapid‑response departures for critical, time‑sensitive missions
- Uphold superior client care, confidentiality, and professional communication
- Maintain currency, training, and company standards in assigned aircraft
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Total time: 2,000 hours
- License: FAA CPL with IR and ME
- Medical: FAA First Class (Class 1)
- Type rating: Not required; training provided on assigned type
- Meet the requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c)
🌟 Additional Requirements
- Be or become highly knowledgeable of 14 CFR and FAA regulations
- Eligible for entry into Canada via CANPASS
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Zero‑tolerance, drug‑free company compliance
- Must live within 45 minutes of base airport
- Previous Part 135 experience preferred
- Open to FAA certificate holders
