✈️ The Opportunity

Jet Access is hiring a typed and current CE-560XL Captain to join our private aviation team in Nashville. You will serve as final authority on every flight and exercise operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations—combining uncompromising safety and regulatory compliance with premium, discreet service for aircraft owners and passengers.

In this leadership seat, you’ll mentor First Officers, uphold fleet standardization, and help drive our safety and training culture while representing Jet Access with professionalism on both domestic and international trips.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the CE-560XL in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual, company policies, and applicable FARs, retaining final authority over all flight decisions.
  • Exercise operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations; ensure safe, compliant Part 135 and Part 91 operations.
  • Lead and mentor assigned First Officers; champion crew cohesion, decisive communication, and sound aeronautical decision-making.
  • Maintain currency and type proficiency; complete recurrent training within required timelines; enforce duty/rest and fatigue risk management standards.
  • Deliver premium, discreet service; coordinate itinerary changes and special requests with the Operations Control Center; provide thorough passenger briefings and build lasting client relationships.
  • Review flight and maintenance logs; verify airworthiness, inspections, and servicing; ensure manuals, charts, and required equipment are current and serviceable.
  • Document engine-trend and maintenance observations; coordinate discrepancies and required maintenance with the Maintenance Department.
  • Accurately complete flight, aircraft, and passenger records in a timely manner.
  • Perform Ground and In-flight Security Coordinator duties per 49 CFR 1544.215(b–c); verify international travel documentation; comply with customs, immigration, and foreign aviation requirements; prevent unauthorized access to aircraft controls.
  • Participate in Safety Management System initiatives, continuous improvement, fleet standardization, mentoring, training development, industry events, client engagements, and special projects supporting company growth.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Typed & current on CE-560XL; initial or recurrent training in type completed within the past 12 months.
  • Certificates: ATP and current First-Class Medical.
  • Experience: 3,000+ total time; 1,500+ PIC; 500+ Multi-Engine PIC; 250+ PIC in type; 250+ Turbine PIC.
  • Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91 operations.
  • Valid state driver’s license and passport; ability to pass background check and drug screening.
  • Stamina for extended duty days, overnights, irregular rest cycles; professional appearance and client-service mindset.
  • Calm, decisive cockpit communication; discreet, service-oriented client care; openness to feedback; personal accountability; trust-building; strong crew teamwork; alignment with our safety and professional-excellence values.
  • Bonus strengths: Knowledge of ICAO standards and international customs; experience with high-net-worth or private aviation clients; proficiency with Part 135 trip-planning, scheduling, and flight-tracking platforms; contributions to safety, mentoring, or standardization programs; ongoing professional development beyond minimums.
