Join Aviation Advisor as the Captain on our Citation CJ series aircraft based in Toledo, OH. You will lead every flight with precision, professionalism, and a safety-first mindset—ensuring regulatory compliance and an exceptional passenger experience on every leg.

✈️ The Opportunity

As Captain, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of Citation CJ series flights from preflight through shutdown. You’ll set the standard for airmanship, crew coordination, and customer care while representing Aviation Advisor with integrity.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command on Citation CJ series (C525) flights, ensuring safety and full compliance with all applicable regulations and company procedures.
  • Lead flight planning: performance, weight and balance, fuel strategy, weather/NOTAM review, and risk assessment.
  • Conduct thorough preflight inspections and oversee ground operations, including fueling and deicing as required.
  • Exercise sound judgment and exemplary CRM, coordinating effectively with the second-in-command and ground teams.
  • Provide professional, discreet, and service-oriented passenger interactions.
  • Maintain currency, records, and documentation to company and regulatory standards.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • 3,000 total flight hours.
  • 1,500 hours Pilot in Command.
  • 200 hours multi-engine time.
  • ATPL/ATP or ATP Written; Multi-Engine Land Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
  • Current First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Proficient in radiotelephone communications.
  • Able to pass drug testing and TSA background screening; eligible for airport ID badge and ramp driving privileges.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license.
  • Reside within a two-hour personal commute of KARR.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

📍 Base & Travel

The primary aircraft base is Toledo, Ohio. The role may include irregular schedules and overnights; a valid passport supports domestic and potential international operations.
