Citation 525 Captain – CJ Series (Part 91/135) – Oakland, CA

PCJ is hiring a full-time Citation 525 Captain in Oakland, CA to fly a well-maintained CJ-series fleet under both Part 91 owner operations and Part 135 charter. If you are a type-rated pro who loves the CJ1+/CJ2/CJ3 platform and values a safety-first, team-centric culture, we want to hear from you.

  • Employment: Permanent, Full-time
  • Operation: Part 91 (owner) + Part 135 (charter)
  • Type-Rated: Required (Citation 525)
  • Estimated Flight Time: 40–60 hours per month

🧭 Your Mission

As a Citation 525 Captain, you will deliver safe, smooth, and on-time operations for both private owners and charter clients. You will exercise sound judgment, lead by example in the cockpit, and represent PCJ with professionalism on every leg.

🧰 The Operation

  • Fleet: 10-aircraft CJ series (CJ1+, CJ2, CJ3)
  • Flying Mix: Owner Part 91 and on-demand Part 135
  • Pace: Balanced schedule averaging 40–60 block hours monthly
  • Base: Oakland, California (OAK)

📋 Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 3,500+ hours
  • PIC Time: 2,000+ hours
  • PIC in Type (CE-525): 250+ hours
  • Multi-Engine: 2,000+ hours (including 2,000+ hours PIC multi-engine)
  • Type Rating: Citation 525 required
  • License: CPL — FAA
  • Medical: First Class
  • Work Authorization: Visa sponsorship not provided

📅 Schedule & Lifestyle

Expect a steady, sustainable flying tempo of approximately 40–60 hours per month. You’ll enjoy variety across owner trips and charter missions with the support of a dedicated operations team based in the Bay Area.
