Cirrus SR22 Captain (Freelance) – Liège & Lyon
✈️ Cirrus SR22 Captain – Fly Aeolus
Fly Aeolus operates a dynamic fleet of Cirrus SR22 aircraft across Europe. With 15 SR22s in service and two more joining next year, we are expanding our network and seeking experienced, local freelance Captains based around Liège, Belgium and Lyon, France. No relocation is required or desired.
Note: We are not seeking pilots willing to relocate. Local collaborations only for Liège and Lyon and their surroundings.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Command single-pilot SR22 flights across Western Europe under VFR and IFR, prioritizing safety and compliance.
- Deliver a premium client experience from pre-flight briefing to post-flight debrief.
- Plan and execute flights efficiently, coordinating with operations and handling dynamic schedules.
- Operate both EASA- and FAA-registered aircraft within Fly Aeolus procedures and SOPs.
- Maintain personal recency and airman documentation to EASA standards.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 500 hours
- Single piston: Minimum 200 hours on single piston aircraft
- IFR time: Minimum 50 hours IFR
- Night: Minimum 15 hours at night
- Recency: In the preceding 90 days, three take-offs and landings and five IFR flights on a single piston aircraft, including three instrument approaches in a single pilot role, or an instrument approach check
- SR22 training: Completed training on the Cirrus SR22
- Licence: EASA CPL with valid IR
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher

Home-based pilots within easy reach of:
- Liège (LGG) and surrounding airports in Belgium
- Lyon (LYS/LFLL) and surrounding airports in France
No relocation required or offered.
