Challenger 605 Captain (PIC) — KSBP, San Luis Obispo | Part 91/135

🧭 The Mission

Lead safe, efficient, and polished operations in the Challenger 605 while fostering positive, professional relationships with employees, vendors, charter clients, and aircraft owners. You’ll coordinate closely with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch to deliver seamless trips aligned with company policies and service standards.

🧰 What You’ll Do

• Operate the Challenger 605 in full compliance with company procedures, manufacturer guidance, and all applicable regulations.
• Execute Part 91/135 flight duties with exemplary judgment, situational awareness, and CRM.
• Coordinate with Flight Dispatch to achieve flight-operation goals, schedule integrity, and client satisfaction.
• Deliver elevated customer service and professionalism to charter clients and aircraft owners.
• Keep Electronic Flight Bags current with the latest navigation databases and application updates.
• Stay knowledgeable on relevant sections of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual.
• Conduct thorough preflight planning and inspections, including: aircraft condition, publications/documentation, equipment and passenger-service items, fuel requirements, destination/enroute weather, alternates, customs and permits, and airport/runway suitability.

📌 Minimum Qualifications

• Total Time: 3,500 hours
• PIC: 2,000 hours
• Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
• Instrument: 300 hours
• Certificates: ATP (Unrestricted or Restricted) with English Proficient endorsement; meets ICAO Annex I, Section 2.1.10
• Medical: First Class Medical
• Travel Documents: Valid United States Passport
• Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3–5 years of professional aviation experience
• Residency: Willing to live within ~90 minutes of KSBP (up to a 2-hour drive-time may be considered)
• Professional Traits: Highly motivated, organized, and service-oriented

• Current or prior CL-604/605 type rating (highly desired)
