🧭 Role overview
In this Calgary-based role, you’ll support the provision of executive air transportation for CPKC leaders, ensuring every mission is conducted to exacting safety, regulatory, and cost-effectiveness standards. You will operate across Canada and internationally, maintain strict adherence to company SOPs and regulatory requirements, and contribute to a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Execute domestic and international flights on the Challenger 605/650 in accordance with company SOPs and all applicable regulations.
- Partner closely with the Captain and flight department team to deliver seamless, discreet, and reliable executive travel.
- Support rigorous preflight planning: performance, routing, weather, alternates, fuel, and weight & balance.
- Ensure all aspects of aircraft operation align with regulatory requirements, including pilot qualifications, inspections, and maintenance coordination.
- Uphold a strong safety mindset—identify and mitigate risk, follow SMS practices, and champion operational excellence.
- Adapt to changing schedules and destinations while maintaining poise, professionalism, and passenger-ready service.
🌟 What you bring
- License: Valid Canadian ATPL (TCCA)
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP level: 4 or higher
- Total time: 2,500+ hours
- Multi-engine PIC: 1,000+ hours
- Jet: 500+ hours
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
- Education: Minimum high school diploma; college degree preferred
- Security: Ability to obtain a RAIC or applicable airport security pass
- Background: Criminal history check, education verification, and professional references
- Travel: Heavy travel with overnights; able to travel unrestricted to the United States, Europe, and other locations
- Shifts: Flexibility to work varying schedules
- Residency: Must be based within 45 minutes of Calgary International Airport
- License holders: Open to TCCA license holders
- Preferred: Current or prior experience on the Challenger 600 series; corporate aviation experience is an asset
- Visa sponsorship: Not provided; must have the legal right to work in Canada
