As a Challenger 604 Captain, you will operate domestic and international missions under Part 135 and Part 91, representing Talon Air with professionalism, safety, and exceptional client service. Most pilots are home-based and airlined to and from the aircraft for each rotation, enabling a stable 12 days on / 8 days off schedule and a balanced lifestyle.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Conduct safe, efficient flight operations on domestic and international assignments under 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135.
• Maintain high levels of crew coordination; perform all duties professionally, efficiently and cordially.
• Deliver premium customer service: greet passengers, assist with seating and luggage, conduct briefings, and respond to requests.
• Adhere to all company procedures and responsibilities outlined in operations manuals.
• Maintain a current FAA First-Class Medical and promptly notify the company of any condition that may affect flight duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support safe, reliable operations.

🧰 What You Bring

• Certificates: ATP (Unrestricted), FAA First-Class Medical, and a valid passport.
• Flight time minimums: 3,000+ total time; 1,000+ MEL; 750+ PIC; 150+ instrument.
• Experience: Qualified Captain on a similar or smaller aircraft; preferred 500+ hours MEL PIC and 1 year of Part 135 experience.
• Regulatory knowledge: Working knowledge of FARs for Part 135/91; thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO and international ops regulations.
• Professional skills: Team player with strong organization and multitasking; excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation abilities.
• Tech proficiency: Comfortable with word processing, iPads, email and web/mobile applications.
• Hiring requirements: Background check and drug screen.

The role is part of Talon Air’s Farmingdale, New York operation. Trips include a mix of domestic and international flying. Crewmembers are typically home-based and airlined to/from the aircraft for each rotation.
