As Captain on a Challenger 604, you will command safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations on a high-performance, long-range platform. Expect dynamic scheduling, international sectors, and a hands-on leadership role that sets the standard for safety and service.
🧭 What you will do
- Plan and execute domestic and international flights, ensuring full compliance with FAA, Transport Canada, and company procedures.
- Lead the flight deck with strong CRM, mentoring the SIC and fostering a just-culture safety mindset.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning: performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel strategy, weather, and NOTAM analysis.
- Coordinate with scheduling, dispatch, and maintenance; ensure MEL/CDL compliance and precise documentation.
- Deliver a refined passenger experience while safeguarding confidentiality and discretion.
- Maintain currency and proficiency through recurrent training and checking; support operational readiness on short notice.

- License: ATP (FAA)
- Type Rating: Not required — full training provided
- Education: Minimum high school diploma
- Medical & Screening: This is a safety-critical role; successful pre-employment medical (physical, vision, hearing) and a negative company or regulated drug test are required. Post-hire qualification drug testing may also be required.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a RAIC or applicable airport security pass
- Travel Eligibility: Unrestricted ability to travel to the United States, Europe, and other destinations
- Flexibility: Comfortable with varying shifts, rapid turnarounds, and heavy travel with overnights
- Conversion Readiness: Willing to obtain Transport Canada ATPL and Category 1 Medical within 1 year
- Residency: Live within 45 minutes of Kansas City Downtown Airport (MKC)

- Current or previous time on Challenger 600 series aircraft
- Corporate aviation background (charter or private flight operations)
- International operational experience
🧭 Base, schedule & travel
- Base: Kansas City Downtown Airport (MKC)
- Travel: 90–100% with frequent overnights
- Schedule: Varying shifts; must be responsive to short-notice trips
Note: Candidates must maintain residency within a 45-minute commute of MKC.
