  • Schedule: Includes nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Call-out radius: Must live in or relocate within a two-hour call-out of home base

✈️ The Opportunity

As the SIC, you will support the safe preparation and operation of company aircraft under Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. You’ll be a proactive flight deck partner—managing duty and rest requirements, maintaining mission readiness, and ensuring every trip reflects our commitment to safety, service, and professionalism.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Ensure safe, efficient flight operations in accordance with CFRs, company manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in full compliance with company requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-/post-flight reports.
  • Manage and maintain EFB hardware and applications; ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.
  • Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making and Jet Linx core values in all interactions.
  • Perform the majority of work in and around aircraft and terminals, adhering to all safety protocols.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Flight time minimums:
    • 2,500 hours total time
    • 500 hours PIC
    • 500 hours multi-engine
    • 100 hours turbine
    • 150 hours instrument
  • Credentials: Unrestricted ATP, current First Class medical, and FCC Restricted Radio License.
  • Documentation: Current passport; ability to travel without restriction to EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries; proof of eligibility to work in the United States; ability to obtain a U.S. driver’s license.
  • Training: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the previous 24 months preferred.
  • Screening: Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; participate in random drug and alcohol testing as required; release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Availability: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays; reside within a two-hour call-out of the Minneapolis base (or relocate).
  • Physical: Ability to work in/around aircraft and terminals and move up to 50 pounds frequently.

  • Base salary: Starting range $135,000–$170,000 annually (determined by geographic location, aircraft size for crew positions, and relevant education, training, and experience).
