🧭 The Mission
As First Officer on the Challenger 600 series, you will partner with the Captain to execute safe, efficient operations across domestic and international routes under Parts 91 and 135. You will bring disciplined airmanship, crisp communication, and unwavering attention to detail to every phase of flight.
- Collaborate with the Captain to plan and conduct flights, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, checklists, and company standards.
- Perform preflight planning: performance, fuel, weather/NOTAMs, and weight and balance.
- Operate in complex environments, including IFR, high-density airspace, and international procedures.
- Demonstrate exemplary CRM and professional communications with ATC, crew, passengers, and vendors.
- Support dispatch coordination, maintenance entries, and meticulous recordkeeping.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 2,500 hours
- PIC Time: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine: 500 hours
- IFR: 300 hours logged
- Jet Experience: Required
- Operational Experience: Part 91/135
- Checkrides: No more than 2 failures
🧾 Certificates, Medical & Compliance
- License: ATP
- Accepted Licenses: FAA
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO Compliance: Meets ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 for multi-crew international commercial air transport
⏱️ Currency
- Last 365 Days: 150 hours flight time
- Last 90 Days: 30 hours flight time
🌟 Preferred Profile
- Typed and experienced in a CL65 (preferred)
- Strong glass cockpit/FMS proficiency and polished corporate/charter demeanor
🧑✈️ Training & Type Rating
No type rating required. Comprehensive initial and recurrent training is provided on the Challenger 600 series, with a focus on advanced systems, international procedures, and high-standard SOP execution.
✅ Additional Requirements
- No accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions in the last 5 years
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Authorization to travel to/from all cities and countries served by our Vista Family of Companies
