Boeing 737 MAX Captain – Uganda (Type-Rated)

Take command of a modern Boeing 737 NG/MAX fleet and help shape safe, reliable operations across Africa and beyond. We’re seeking a Type-Rated Captain who brings seasoned judgment, exemplary airmanship, and a passion for mentoring crews at our Uganda base.
🧭 What You’ll Do
As Captain on the Boeing 737 NG/MAX, you will lead by example from briefing to block-in, ensuring uncompromising safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
- Command B737 NG/MAX flights, delivering safe, efficient, and passenger-focused operations.
- Foster a strong safety culture, applying SOPs and best CRM practices.
- Coach and mentor flight crew; support training and checking where designated.
- Collaborate with flight ops, engineering, and dispatch to optimize on-time performance.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Total time: 5,000 hours
- Jet: 2,000 hours
- PIC in type: 1,500 hours on B737NG/MAX
- Type rating: Required (B737NG/MAX)
- Currency: Last flew the B737NG/MAX within the past 6 months from date of application
- License required: ATPL
- Accepted licenses: ICAO
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP level: 4
Flight time notes: 1,500 hours PIC on B737NG/MAX. 500 hours minimum instructional time on type required for designated Instructors/Training Captains.

- No accident or incident record.
- No criminal record.
- Five (5) years or more airline experience in a similar role.
- Willingness to relocate and be based in Uganda.
- Individual assessments for satisfactory command ability will be carried out as part of the interview process.
