✈️ Lead the Line as a Cessna 408 SkyCourier Captain
Further your aviation career with Mountain Air Cargo (MAC), a trusted FedEx Feeder operating throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States. We fly approximately 100 flights per day under Parts 121 and 135, with a diverse fleet of 50+ aircraft, including the ATR 42/72, Cessna 208 Caravan, and the Cessna 408 SkyCourier. Join a professional team of pilots and mechanics based across 50+ cities.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as Captain on the Cessna 408 SkyCourier in scheduled cargo operations across the Midwest and Eastern U.S.
- Operate safely and compliantly in IFR/VFR, day/night, and varied weather in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight-and-balance; verify secure cargo loading and documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and FedEx ramp personnel to maintain on-time performance.
- Complete accurate flight, maintenance, and operational reports.
- Champion a safety-first culture and professional standards on every flight.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total time: 1,800 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 500 hours
- Multi-engine: 300 hours
- Turbine: 100 hours
- Cross-country: 500 hours
- Night: 100 hours
- Instrument: 100 hours (75 must be in aircraft)
- License required: ATP (FAA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Accepted licenses: FAA
- Type rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)
