🧭 The role

As a Caravan First Officer, you’ll support the Captain through every phase of flight, uphold uncompromising safety standards, and deliver reliable operations across day and night schedules. You’ll manage radios, navigation, and checklist discipline while contributing to flight planning, performance calculations, and real‑time decision support.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Execute SOPs and checklists for preflight, departure, enroute, approach, and postflight activities.
  • Conduct thorough flight planning, including weather analysis, fuel planning, performance, and weight & balance.
  • Communicate clearly with ATC; manage radios and navigation systems while monitoring aircraft performance.
  • Operate under IFR and VFR, day and night, in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Demonstrate disciplined airmanship, strong CRM, and a safety‑first mindset on every leg.
  • Maintain qualifications, records, and participate in initial and recurrent training.

🌟 Minimum qualifications

  • Total Time: 500 hours
  • Recent Experience: 6 months as a pilot
  • Cross Country: 100 hours
  • Night: 25 hours
  • Turbine/Instrument: 50 hours turbine OR 75 hours instrument
  • License: FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR)
  • Medical: FAA Class 2
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided on the C208 (NTR)

🧾 Additional requirements

  • Radio Operator’s Certificate
  • Valid passport (for CASS eligibility)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (no visa sponsorship)
  • Available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to pass a 10‑year background check and pre‑employment drug screen per airline/company regulations
