Cutter Aviation is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable aviation professional to serve as Pilot-in-Command of a new HondaJet HA-420 based at John Wayne–Orange County Airport (SNA). This remote position features single-pilot operations supporting the owner’s travel requirements and supplemental charter flying. As the primary face of Cutter Aviation, you’ll be an exceptional relationship builder and communicator who delivers world-class customer service while coordinating closely with Cutter Flight Management across all phases of aircraft operations and support.

🧭 Your mission

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command of a new HondaJet HA-420, executing safe, efficient single-pilot flights.
  • Support an owner’s travel profile and supplemental charter flying with exemplary punctuality and reliability.
  • Be the primary face of Cutter Aviation—build trusted relationships and deliver world-class customer service.
  • Coordinate on-site with Cutter Flight Management for all operational phases, maintenance support, and logistics.
  • Represent our company to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the business aviation community.

  • Proven safety mindset with no accidents, incidents, or sanctions in the past 5 years.
  • Knowledge of general aviation aircraft, service requirements, and the needs of crews and passengers.
  • Self-starter who thrives working independently in a remote environment.
  • A sincere, team-oriented approach with excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and manner, strong rapport-building, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check; clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Certificate: ATP — FAA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Type Rating: Not required on HA-420 (training provided)
  • Preferred Flight Time: 3,000+ Total Time • 1,500+ PIC • 250+ PIC turbine
