Mountain Air Cargo (MAC) is a FedEx feeder cargo carrier providing flight and maintenance services across the Midwest and Eastern half of the United States. With a diverse fleet and a growing network, you'll fly meaningful, schedule-driven cargo missions that keep businesses moving.

✈️ The Opportunity

As a Captain on the Cessna C408 SkyCourier, you'll operate reliable, twin‑engine turboprop cargo missions within the FedEx network. You'll lead safe, on‑time flights under Parts 121 and 135, coordinate closely with dispatch and maintenance, and uphold MAC's safety-first culture.

  • Command the C408 SkyCourier on scheduled cargo operations across the region.
  • Operate IFR day and night in a variety of weather and airspace environments.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making, checklist discipline, and crew leadership.
  • Partner with maintenance and operations to ensure aircraft readiness and network reliability.

🧭 About Mountain Air Cargo

MAC is a long‑standing FedEx feeder providing flight and maintenance services throughout the Midwest and Eastern U.S.

  • Operation: Approximately 100 flights per day
  • Fleet: ATR 42/72, Cessna 208 Caravan & Cessna C408 SkyCourier
  • Regulatory ops: Part 121 and 135
  • Team: Pilots and mechanics based in 50+ cities

🧰 Minimum Requirements

  • Total Time: 1,800 hours
  • PIC: 500 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 300 hours
  • Turbine: 100 hours (exceptions may be considered based on prior experience)
  • Cross-Country: 500 hours
  • Night: 100 hours
  • Instrument: 100 hours (75 must be in aircraft)
  • License: CPL, ME — FAA certificates
  • Medical: Class 1
  • English Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not provided (must be authorized to work in the U.S.)
