As our First Officer, you will fly domestic and international missions for discerning Owners, adapt to dynamic schedules, and uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and service. No type rating required—comprehensive training provided.
🧭 The mission
Serve as Second‑in‑Command on a multi‑type business jet fleet, executing safe, efficient, and discreet operations worldwide. You will thrive in a fast‑changing environment, manage rest effectively, and deliver a polished Owner experience—sometimes including the care and handling of animals and operating in cabins where Owners may smoke.
🧰 What you will do
- Act as SIC to plan and conduct domestic and international flights across multiple time zones and weather environments.
- Assist with flight planning, performance, weight & balance, fuel strategy, and regulatory compliance.
- Practice strong CRM, checklist discipline, and procedural precision under pressure.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with Owners, crew, operations, and vendors.
- Handle and care for animals before, during, and after Owner flights as required.
- Maintain cabin professionalism on flights where Owners may smoke.
- Protect safety and security through meticulous documentation, risk assessment, and adherence to company SOPs and international requirements.
- Manage personal rest and readiness to ensure fitness for duty throughout each tour.
🌟 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC): 250 hours
- Multi‑Engine: 50 hours
- License: FAA ATP or R‑ATP, or meets eligibility requirements
- Cross‑Country: 200 hours (>50 nm)
- Night: 100 hours, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings
- Instrument: 75 hours actual or in‑flight simulated (excludes simulator time)
- Medical: Class 1
- Type Rating: Not required — training provided
- Open to License Holders: FAA
🛡️ Clearances & compliance
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit
- Valid passport; able to travel internationally without restrictions
- Ability to secure airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges
- Pass all TSA-required background screening
- Valid state driver’s license
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure
🌍 Schedule, travel & lifestyle
- Varying duty hours: days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Duty periods may last up to 14 hours per day for as many as eight consecutive days
- Tours may span multiple time zones and extreme weather differences
- While on duty, expect to be away from home 7+ days/nights, staying in hotels
- Must be extremely flexible and able to adapt quickly to rapid changes
