Join a professional, safety-driven flight deck and fly the iconic “Queen of the Skies.” We’re seeking a type-rated Boeing 747 First Officer for permanent employment, supporting domestic and international operations with precision, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
🧭 The Role
As a Boeing 747 First Officer, you will operate in a multi-crew, glass-cockpit environment, adhering to company SOPs and applicable regulations (e.g., FAR). You’ll partner with the Captain and flight operations teams to deliver safe, efficient, and professional long-haul and regional missions.
- Execute all phases of flight with disciplined adherence to checklists, SOPs, and CRM best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Captain to manage workload, monitor systems, and ensure operational excellence.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, including weather, NOTAMs, performance, fuel, and international procedures.
- Manage FMS, performance computations, and glass-cockpit workflows with precision and situational awareness.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including weight and balance, MEL/CDL considerations, and cross-border requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, including your Operating Experience Record and flight logs.
- Champion a safety-first culture and contribute to continuous improvement in training and operations.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Total time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-engine PIC: 500 hours
- Type rating: Boeing 747 type rating required
- License: ATP qualified (FAA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Currency: 3 takeoffs and landings within 90 days per FAR 121.439, and current qualification on the aircraft
- Documents: FCC Radiotelephone Permit; High School Diploma
- Willingness to travel: Domestic and international
- Records: Operating Experience Record
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- Total time: 5,000+ hours
- 121 experience: 1,000 hours Part 121 SIC or PIC in glass-cockpit, transport-category turbine airplanes
- Certificate: ATP
