Step into the right seat of a Boeing 737NG with a permanent role in a New Zealand–based operation. If you bring solid turbine time and leadership in command, we’ll provide the type rating and a supportive pathway onto the line.
🧭 What you’ll bring
We’re seeking a safety-focused First Officer who is calm under pressure, collaborative on the flight deck, and eager to grow on a classic narrow-body workhorse. Your recent experience and disciplined airmanship will help deliver on-time, high-quality operations.
🧰 Minimum flight experience
- Total time: 1,500 hours
- PIC time: 250 hours
- Turbine: 500 hours
- Flight time notes: Either 250 hours in Command of a powered fixed wing aeroplane, or 250 hours in Command of a powered fixed wing aeroplane, of which up to 180 hours may be ICUS, and 500 hours as Co-Pilot of a transport category aeroplane.
🌟 Licensing, medical & currency
- Licence: Frozen ATPL with IR and Multi-Engine (ME)
- Authorities accepted: CASA or NZCAA
- Instrument endorsements: Endorsements for Instrument Approach 2D and 3D on a CASA Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating.
- Medical: Class 1
- English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 6
- Type rating: Not required (training provided)
🔐 Security, travel & work rights
- Security clearance: Ability to hold an Aviation Security card — ASIC (Australia) and AvSec (New Zealand)
- Passport: Current passport with at least 12 months validity
- Work rights: The right to live and work in New Zealand without restriction or sponsorship. Non-New Zealand or non-Australian passport holders require a New Zealand Permanent Resident Visa.
