✈️ About the role

As a Type-Rated First Officer, you will operate the Boeing 737-800 in accordance with company SOPs and JCAB / ICAO regulations, supporting the Captain throughout all phases of flight. You will contribute to a safety-first culture while delivering a reliable and professional service on sectors within Japan and internationally.

🧭 Key responsibilities

  • Execute preflight planning, performance calculations, and thorough aircraft inspections.
  • Operate the 737-800 through all phases of flight in compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage radio communications and navigation; maintain precise, professional ATC liaison.
  • Apply strong CRM and threat-and-error management to ensure safe, efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with cabin crew and ground teams to deliver on-time, customer-focused service.
  • Complete post-flight duties and documentation accurately and promptly.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Type rating: Required on Boeing 737NG / 737-800.
  • Flight time: At least 500 flight hours and at least 6 months of flight experience in Japanese airline operations.
  • Licenses: JCAB CPL with IR and ME.
  • Radio license: Must hold an Airline Radio Operator’s License or an equivalent or higher license.
  • Medical: Class 1.
  • ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher.
  • Languages: English and Japanese.
  • Open to lic. holders: JCAB.
  • Visa sponsorship: Not provided.
