Command the Beechcraft 99 in demanding regional cargo operations under IFR. As a Captain at Ameriflight, you’ll ensure safe, efficient, and on-time operations while upholding rigorous FAR and company standards.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Execute comprehensive preflight planning, performance calculations, and aircraft inspections.
- Operate the Beechcraft 99 in IFR and night conditions in full compliance with company procedures and FARs.
- Exercise PIC authority, making sound decisions for weather, fuel, routing, and alternates.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and cargo partners to ensure safe, timely shipments.
- Oversee proper loading, cargo restraint, and weight-and-balance within regulatory limits.
- Maintain required training, proficiency, and records to Part 135 standards.
🧰 Minimum Flight Experience
- Total Time: 1,200 hours
- PIC Time: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 50 hours
- Cross-Country: 500 hours (point-to-point)
- Instrument: 75 hours (50 in aircraft)
- Night: 100 hours
- Currency: Instrument Proficiency Check or recent 121/135 recurrent within the past 6 months
📜 Certificates, Endorsements & Documents
- Licenses Required: FAA CPL with IR and ME
- FAR Compliance: Meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions
- Endorsements: High Performance and Complex
- Medical: First Class or Second Class (First Class required for international operations)
- Radio Permit: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Identification: Valid driver’s license and current passport
- Security: Must meet airport badging requirements, including TSA security background check
- Type Rating: Not required — training provided
- Accepted Licenses: FAA
