🌟 Your Mission as a Beech 99 Captain
- Serve as PIC of the Beechcraft 99 on scheduled cargo operations under Part 135.
- Plan and execute IFR and night operations, ensuring safe and efficient, point-to-point cross-country flights.
- Perform accurate performance, weight-and-balance, fuel, and weather analyses; make sound go/no-go decisions.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and station teams; complete all operational and regulatory documentation.
- Uphold Ameriflight SOPs, safety management practices, and TSA security procedures at all times.
🧰 Minimum Flight Experience
- Total Time: 1,200 hours
- PIC: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 50 hours
- Cross-Country: 500 hours (point-to-point)
- Instrument: 75 hours (50 in aircraft)
- Night: 100 hours
🧾 Certificates, Ratings & Currency
- License: FAA CPL with Instrument Rating (IR) and Multi-Engine (ME)
- Medical: Class 2 (First Class required for international operations)
- Currency: IPC or 121/135 recurrent within past 6 months
- Type Rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)
📋 Additional Requirements
- Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions
- High performance and complex endorsements
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Valid driver’s license
- Current passport
- Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA security background check
