🧭 Your mission

  • Serve as PIC in IFR operations under Part 135, meeting FAR 135.243(c) requirements.
  • Transport time-critical cargo safely, efficiently, and on schedule across regional routes.
  • Exercise sound judgment in dynamic weather and operational environments, maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to ensure mission readiness and reliability.
  • Uphold Ameriflight SOPs and Safety Management System practices on every leg.

📏 Minimum flight experience

  • Total Time: 1,200 hours
  • PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 50 hours
  • Cross-Country: 500 hours (point-to-point)
  • Instrument: 75 hours (50 in aircraft)
  • Night: 100 hours

🧰 Pilot qualifications & currency

  • Certificates: FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with IR and MEL
  • Medical: Class II (Class I required for international operations)
  • Endorsements: High Performance and Complex
  • FCC Permit: Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Currency: Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent within the past 6 months
  • Regulatory: Meets FAR 135.243(c) for PIC in IFR conditions
  • Travel IDs: Valid driver’s license and current passport
  • Security: Ability to meet airport badging requirements, including TSA security background check
