Alpine Air is seeking experienced, full-time Captains to operate the Beechcraft 99 in our Part 135 flight operations. We hold a high bar for safety, airmanship, crew resource management, and customer relations. 🧭 The Mission
As a Captain, you will lead safe, efficient, and on-time Beech 99 operations that support time-sensitive logistics, including postal routes. You’ll set the tone for professionalism on every leg—planning thoroughly, communicating clearly, and executing with precision.
- Serve as Pilot in Command for Beechcraft 99 flights in compliance with company SOPs and Part 135 regulations.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, weight and balance, performance, and weather analysis.
- Exercise sound judgment and risk management; make timely, safety-first decisions.
- Lead effective CRM in two-crew operations; foster a respectful, team-first cockpit culture.
- Coordinate professionally with dispatch, maintenance, ramp, and station partners.
- Complete accurate logs, reports, and required operational documentation.

- High school diploma required; BS/BA preferred.
🌟 Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 1,100+ hours
- Regulatory: Must meet CFR Part 135 pilot requirements
- Licenses: FAA CPL, IR, ME
- Medical: FAA Class 2
- Work Authorization: Eligible to work in the U.S. and have resided in the U.S. for 4.5 of the past 5 years
- Screening: Pass pre-employment drug test and background check; obtain U.S. Postal clearance
📚 Training & Progression
Type rating is not required. Alpine Air provides comprehensive training on the Beechcraft 99. You’ll be expected to complete the program and demonstrate proficiency to company standards prior to line operations.
⏱️ Schedule
Operations may include night flying, weekends, and holidays to meet time-critical schedules. Reliability and flexibility are essential.
