Ameriflight is hiring an experienced Beechcraft 1900 Captain to join our Part 135 cargo operation domiciled at the Pampa, TX (PPA) outstation. Operate a dependable Monday–Friday evening schedule to Amarillo (AMA) and Lubbock (LBB), returning the following morning.   • Location: Pampa, Texas (PPA) — Outstation domicile
  • Operation: Part 135 Cargo
  • Route: PPA ↔ AMA and LBB; occasional repositioning to DFW for maintenance
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday evenings, return the following morning
  • Equipment: Beechcraft 1900 (BE1900)
  • Base Salary: $87,006 annually

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Captain on the Beechcraft BE1900 in Ameriflight’s Part 135 cargo operation.
  • Operate scheduled evening runs Monday–Friday from PPA to AMA and LBB, returning the next morning.
  • Conduct occasional repositioning flights to DFW for maintenance as required.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and on-time performance.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • Meets FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions.
  • License: Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Multi-Engine Land with Instrument Rating; high-performance and complex endorsements.
  • Flight Time: 1,800 TT, 1,000 PIC, 500 XC, 250 multi, 100 turbine PIC, 100 instrument (50 in-aircraft), 100 night.
  • Previous FAR 121/135 experience required.
  • Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent within past 6 months.
  • First or Second Class FAA Medical (First Class required for Charter/ESCS and international operations).
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Current passport; English proficient.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
  • Meets airport badging requirements, including TSA security background check.
  • Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and all required background checks.
  • Valid driver’s license; meets company insurance criteria to operate company vehicles.
