Lead safe, reliable Beechcraft 1900 operations in challenging northern environments. This permanent Captain role offers type training (NTR) and the opportunity to demonstrate sound leadership, superior airmanship, and a thorough understanding of northern flying operations.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Command Beechcraft 1900 flights in accordance with company SOPs, client standards, and applicable Canadian/US regulations.
- Exercise strong decision-making in weather and terrain typical of northern operations; ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the flight crew; foster a proactive safety culture and exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams; maintain accurate operational and flight records.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total time: 2,500+ hours
- Multi‑engine: 500+ hours
- Multi‑engine PIC: 750+ hours
- Turbine: 500+ hours
- Valid ATPL (TCCA) and Class 1 Medical
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
- Demonstrated knowledge of northern flying operations
- Ability to meet requirements established by client standards
🌐 Eligibility & clearances
- Work authorization: Legally entitled to immediately work in Canada
- Passport: Current and valid, enabling travel to the USA
- Security: Ability to obtain a Transport Canada RAIC
- Open to licence holders: TCCA
