Summit Air is hiring experienced Avro RJ Captains to lead charter and cargo missions across Canada from our Calgary base, with a focus on northern and remote aviation. Join a team operating one of the country’s most diverse fleets and make an impact where safe, reliable air service matters most.

🧭 Your mission

Command Avro RJ aircraft on charter and cargo operations, with regular flying in northern and remote environments.
Lead a safety-first cockpit culture, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, regulatory compliance, and company standards.
Conduct thorough flight planning, performance and weight-and-balance calculations for a variety of payloads and runways.
Operate confidently in cold-weather and High Arctic conditions, including challenging approaches and limited infrastructure.
Mentor and collaborate with flight and ground crews to deliver reliable, on-time service to customers and communities.

🧰 What you’ll bring

Current Canadian ATPL.
Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time.
2,500 hours MPIC (multi-crew pilot-in-command) on aircraft greater than 5,700 kg.
500 hours on jet aircraft (asset).
High Arctic experience (asset).
Glass cockpit experience (asset).
Current passport with ability to travel to the US and Europe.
Ability to obtain a Canadian RAIC.
Strong commitment to safety culture; successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Based in Calgary with operations throughout Canada, including frequent northern and remote flying.

Travel: Eligible to travel to the United States and Europe.
