✈️ Role Overview

As an FO on the ATR 72, you will operate in a professional, multi-crew environment supporting regional and northern operations. You will partner closely with the Captain to deliver safe, efficient, and on-time performance while upholding company and regulatory standards on every leg.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the ATR 72 as First Officer under approved SOPs, ensuring strict compliance with all regulations and company policies.
  • Execute all phases of flight in a multi-crew, IFR environment, including performance planning, briefings, and checklist discipline.
  • Demonstrate sound airmanship and decision-making in northern and remote operations, including changing weather and terrain considerations.
  • Support flight safety culture through proactive threat and error management and effective crew resource management.
  • Participate in recurrent training, simulator sessions, and line checks to maintain currency and proficiency.
  • Coordinate with ground and dispatch teams to ensure safe, efficient turnarounds in remote and regional stations.

🌟 What You’ll Bring (Minimum Requirements)

  • Total Time: 600 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 300 hours
  • Licences: IATRA and valid IR (open to FAA licence holders)
  • Medical: Valid Class 1 medical
  • Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
  • Eligibility: Current, valid passport enabling travel to the USA; legally entitled to immediately work in Canada
  • Security: Ability to obtain a Transport Canada RAIC
  • Operational Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of Northern Flying Operations
  • Standards: Must meet all requirements established by client standards
  • Type Rating: Not required (training provided)

🧭 Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-engine time in a multi-crew environment
  • On-type ATR 72 experience (considered a strong asset)

🎓 Training & Development

Type rating is provided for successful candidates. Expect structured ground school, simulator training, and a mentored line indoctrination to build confidence and proficiency on type.
