ATR 72 Captain – Permanent (Type Rating Provided)
✈️ ATR 72 Captain – Lead Regional Ops with Confidence
Take the left seat on the ATR 72 and lead high-performance regional operations. If you bring strong turbine PIC experience—especially in northern and remote environments—we’ll provide the ATR type training you need to excel.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Captain ATR 72 operations in strict accordance with company procedures, client standards, and Canadian Aviation Regulations.
- Exercise sound PIC decision-making in northern and remote environments, prioritizing safety, compliance, and operational resilience.
- Lead and mentor flight crew, fostering professionalism, CRM excellence, and a just safety culture.
- Oversee flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, de/anti-icing decisions, and weather/terrain considerations.
- Collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to deliver safe, reliable, and on-time service.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 4,000 hours
- Multi-Engine: 2,500 hours
- Turbine PIC: 1,000 hours
- License: ATPL (TCCA)
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO English: Level 4 or higher
- Type Rating: Not required (ATR 72 training provided)
🌟 Preferred experience
- PIC time on aircraft with MTOW > 12,500 lbs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of northern flying operations.
✅ Additional requirements
- Current and valid passport enabling travel to the USA.
- Legally entitled to immediately work in Canada.
- Ability to obtain a Transport Canada RAIC.
- Must meet requirements established by Client Standards.
- Negative pre-employment test for controlled substances and alcohol.
