As Captain on the ATR 72, you will set the tone for operational excellence, crew leadership, and an exceptional passenger experience. You’ll make sound, timely decisions, champion a proactive safety culture, and mentor your crew while delivering reliable regional and cross-border service.

🧭 Your mission

  • Exercise full PIC authority to ensure the safe, compliant operation of every flight.
  • Lead and develop the flight deck team, promoting effective CRM, clear communication, and professionalism.
  • Adhere to SOPs and regulatory requirements; complete thorough preflight planning, briefings, and checklists.
  • Manage aircraft performance, fuel planning, and operational decisions in dynamic weather and airspace environments.
  • Engage proactively with cabin crew and ground teams to support on-time, high-quality service.
  • Champion safety reporting, continuous improvement, and a just culture across all operations.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 3000 hours
  • PIC time: 1500 hours
  • Multi-engine PIC: 500 hours
  • License: ATPL (TCCA)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher

🌟 Preferred

  • Previous ATR 72 experience highly preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to a proactive safety culture
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC
  • Eligibility to travel to and from the United States
  • Non-Type Rated candidates welcomed; company-provided ATR 72 type training
