We’re hiring experienced Captains to join our rapidly expanding Flight Operations team. You’ll command the ATR 72 in both normal and abnormal operations, uphold the highest safety standards, and act as a trusted brand ambassador every time you fly.
🧑🚀 Your Mission
Serve as the aircraft commander, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient operation from gate to gate—every sector, every day.
- Lead the flight deck, making sound decisions and managing all phases of flight in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain safety at the highest possible level during normal and abnormal situations, with proactive SMS participation and timely reporting.
- Mentor and develop First Officers and cabin crew; foster a just culture and strong crew resource management.
- Drive operational efficiency—optimize fuel, time, and payload while protecting schedule integrity and customer experience.
- Represent Green Africa professionally; communicate clearly with customers, crew, dispatch, ATC, and ground operations.
- Protect the aircraft, crew, passengers, and cargo at all times while in command.
🧮 What You Bring
- Total time: 6,000 hours
- PIC on type: 2,000 hours (ATR 72)
- Type rating: Required and current on ATR 72
- Currency: Must have flown within the last 12 months
- License: ATPL
- Open to license holders: ICAO
- Medical: Class 1
- ELP: ICAO Level 5
- Work authorization: Visa sponsorship provided
